We’ve closed the chapter on 2021 and 2022 looms large ahead of us. The new year often brings a time of reflection for most of us. Did you look back on your year wishing you had taken more pictures of your family? Pictures that show the true, raw nature of who you are? Perhaps you resolved to do a better job of that this year, but you don’t know where to even begin. It’s a task that seems too overwhelming. I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll now be offering Year In The Life sessions to help you reach that goal in a stress free way!
What are Year In The Life (YITL) sessions?
Year In The Life sessions, or YITL as I’ll refer to them going forward, are documentary sessions of your family, just as you are. There’s no need to worry about what you’re going to wear, where you’ll take your pictures, or how your children will behave. This is a real, honest documentation of your family life. I’ll be a fly on the wall as your family simply lives life together!
What does setting up YITL sessions look like?
I have several options for your family to choose from when it comes to choosing the frequency of YITL sessions. You can choose to do monthly one hour sessions, bi-monthly 2 hour sessions, or quarterly 2 hour sessions. With each option your family gets a private online gallery of your curated digital images that you can call up any time over the year and download as you desire. At the culmination of our time together, at the conclusion of the year, you’ll receive a family yearbook album featuring curated images I’ve taken of your family throughout the year. An heirloom your family will treasure forever. Something you can go back to again and again.
What will you be photographing?
The goal is to make an honest collection of your day to day life. We’ll spend some time working on what’s important to your family. You’ll get a planner with some general thoughts on what we might do during specific times of the year. Plus you’ll get to list things that are important to you each month or season. The idea is to have an loose plan in place before your scheduled YITL session, then I photograph and put the images together for you. Nothing is out of reach!
You’ll find more information on these session in the coming week. I’ll only be taking on a few families for YITL sessions this year. The best way to be informed is by signing up for my email list.
Make this year memorable for your family by signing up for my YITL sessions!
