One of the most important steps in creating an amazing photo session is choosing the right location. It needs to reflect who you are as well as not be too distracting to the overall look of your photos. In this blog series we’ll explore some of my favorite locations. I’ll share with you some of the location’s features and how it might best serve you in your photography experience.

Hildebrand Ranch Park is nestled right up against the foothills of South West Littleton. It features an old, weathered white barn that gives a rustic country vibe. The foothill views are beautiful during golden hour. There’s a creek that runs through it and it has lots of tall grass, mature trees, and plenty of open space.

Peak Season
I honestly think this park is beautiful during all seasons, but it truly shines during the summer and fall months. The barn can be fun to shoot at during snowy weather, and the foothills are beautiful any time of the year. The park does tend to get busy with other photographers during the fall months, but it’s big enough that you don’t have to worry about other families appearing in your photographs.

Why I Love It
This is one of my favorite locations because of it’s rustic feel. It reminds me of country life on the outskirts of the city. I’m a huge fan of open space when shooting family photos so that the environment will allow for uninhibited freedom in movement and places to explore together. This park does not disappoint.
