Okay, let’s be honest. Not all school pictures are amazing. Who remembers the awesome laser backgrounds you could pick back in the 90’s? I know I do. So why is it important to have your child’s school picture, even if they might not be your favorite?
A Record Of Growth and Change
My, oh my, how our kids grow. Think about their growth from an infant to now. It’s pretty substantial, right? Sometimes they can grow and change abundantly within a year’s time. What if you didn’t have a record of what your child looked like at each age and stage of their life? I can’t even fathom it. I love looking back at my kiddos pictures and seeing how much they’ve grown and changed. And they do too! And before long, they’ll have a collection they can share with their own kids some day. And, let’s be honest, there might be a little poking fun at how they looked “back then”. Isn’t that the fun part?

When we choose to make school pictures a priority, it makes our kids feel loved. Those yearly images help our kids see themselves as valued within their own family.
