I’m happy to report that my goal to stay on top of our family’s Project 365 for the year is still going strong! I’m not great at posting our images regularly, but the pictures are still being taken. To me that’s a huge win.
These long winter months get hard to think outside the box of what it is I can record about our family life. Everything seems extremely repetitive. Wake up, get ready for school, go to school, come home, do homework or go to rehearsal or practice. It doesn’t leave much to the imagination. So I’m forcing myself to rethink how I’m composing my shots and how I see things visually. It’s a lesson in creativity, that’s for sure.
Now that the weather is warming up I’m looking forward to taking my camera outside and bringing it with me more often. I can’t wait to go on adventures, watch the spring musical my kids are working so hard at preparing for, and attending all the soccer, flag football and baseball games.
Spring. It’s time. We’re waiting with open arms and open hearts over here.
