Throughout my years as a school portrait photographer I've heard the same complaints over and over again. You've had too many disappointing picture days. You're done with the lack of service, poor quality (and expensive) photos, and a general all around yucky experience.

Running your own business has its challenges. I’m going into this fall season feeling a little shaky. If I’m completely honest, I’ve questioned if this work is truly what I’m supposed to keep doing. If it really matters.
Then I’m reminded of the impact we’ve had on our schools. Just yesterday I was at one of my favorite little schools with a HUGE heart, Humanex Academy. I was reminded how much this work impacts students and their families for the good and it pushes me to keep going.
So thankful for their continued trust and encouragement. And looking forward to sharing this year’s batch of images with their families.
